WPForms and Fluent Forms
With Pro, submissions from WPForms and Fluent Forms come to Telegram the same way as from Contact Form 7: every field with its label, the form’s title and a link to the page with the form.
Checked with WPForms Lite 2.0 and Fluent Forms 6.2, the free versions.
Turn it on
Nothing to set up: when Pro and the form plugin are active, submissions from all its forms are sent.
To change that, open the Events tab. Each active form plugin has its own section:
- Form submissions turns messages from this plugin on and off;
- Which forms limits them to the forms you check. If none is checked, every form sends.
To send different forms to different chats, use conditions on the Chats tab. To change the text, use templates.
What is sent
| In the form | In the message |
|---|---|
| Text, email, numbers, lists | As submitted |
| Several checked options | In one line, separated by commas |
| Consent checkbox | “Yes” |
| Uploaded file | File name only |
| Password, payment card, captcha | Not sent |
| Empty field | Left out |
Submissions that fail validation are not sent, and neither are those the form plugin stops as spam.
In Fluent Forms the label is the field’s Admin Field Label, the same one its emails use. To change a label in the message, change it there.
